Homework: Homework will be sent home Monday through Thursday. Homework is expected to be turned in completed the next morning. Homework will consist of spelling, math, and reading.

Day 1: Write each spelling word 5x
Day 2: Put spelling words 1-8 in ABC order. Write a sentence for each spelling word (1-8). Each sentence should contain 7 or more words. Underline the spelling word used in the sentence.

Reading Homework
Students are to read 15 min. a day. Then complete 1 entry in their interactive reading log.
Oral Reading Fluency (ORF): Parents are to time students as they read as fast as they can for 1 min. Parents are to count how many words their child read, then subtract how many errors their child made. The difference of the 2 numbers is the child's score.
